MS Plate

Mild steel (MS) plates refer to square or rectangular metal plates that are used for general construction, engineering, industrial and architectural applications. They are made of low-carbon mild steel, which is crafted by smelting together coal and iron in a blast furnace. Once melted and purified, the steel is made to solidify into its intended shape. MS plates in the Philippines are commonly used to add strength and support to a concrete cement in buildings and other infrastructures. They are also essential components in the production of cars, furniture, ships and road signs. Depending on the intended purpose, these plates can be cut and customized according to the client’s request.
